Former Fiji 7s coach, Iliesa Tanivula believes that the Fiji 7s team has a good chance of beating Spain in their first pool match of the Malaga 7s this weekend.
Tanivula says that Fiji is a very good team and that they have a lot of experience at this level.
He also says that Spain is a good team, but they are not as experienced as Fiji. He believes that if Fiji plays to their potential, they will be able to beat Spain.
Fiji is currently ranked first in the world in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, while Spain is ranked 11th.
Fiji will face Spain in their first pool match on Saturday at 4:10pm AEDT.
The Malaga 7s is the fifth tournament of the 2023 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
The Fiji 7s team is currently in third place in the overall standings with 69 points.
The top four teams at the end of the series will qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
