BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola and Sarah Hadland announcement leaves fans saying 'OMG'
Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left reeling after a shock announcement from professional dancer Vito Coppola and actress Sarah Hadland.
The duo were partnered together in the 2022 series of the popular BBC show, and they quickly became firm favourites with viewers.
However, in a surprise statement released on Tuesday, Coppola and Hadland announced that they have decided to part ways as dance partners.
The news has sent shockwaves through the Strictly fandom, with many fans taking to social media to express their dismay.
"OMG, I can't believe Vito and Sarah are no longer dancing together," one fan tweeted.
"They were my favourite couple on the show," another added.
Coppola and Hadland have not yet publicly commented on the reasons for their split, but it is thought that it may be due to scheduling conflicts.
Coppola is due to tour with Strictly Come Dancing Live in early 2023, while Hadland is set to appear in a new play.
Despite the disappointment of fans, it is understood that Coppola and Hadland remain on good terms.
A source close to the couple told The Sun: "Vito and Sarah had a great time on Strictly, but they both have busy schedules and it just wasn't possible for them to continue dancing together.
"They're both really sad to be parting ways, but they wish each other all the best for the future."
It is not yet known who will replace Coppola as Hadland's dance partner for the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour.
However, it is likely that the BBC will announce a replacement in due course.
