Belfast Giants reach Challenge Cup final after comeback win over Fife Flyers
Belfast Giants came from behind to beat Fife Flyers 4-2 in the Challenge Cup semi-final second leg and reach the final
The Giants won the first leg 4-1 in Belfast last week, but Fife took the lead in the second leg through a powerplay goal from Riley Brandt in the first period.
The Giants equalised through Mark Cooper in the second period, and then took the lead through David Goodwin early in the third period.
Fife levelled the game through Jordan Cownie, but the Giants regained the lead through Jordan Boucher.
The Giants then saw out the game to reach the Challenge Cup final, where they will face Sheffield Steelers.
The Giants started the game slowly and Fife took advantage to take the lead through Riley Brandt on the powerplay in the first period.

The Giants regained the lead through Jordan Boucher, and then saw out the game to reach the Challenge Cup final.
The Giants will now face Sheffield Steelers in the Challenge Cup final on Sunday 19th March at the Utilita Arena Sheffield.
The Steelers beat Guildford Flames 5-2 in the other semi-final.
The Giants will be looking to win their first Challenge Cup since 2019, while the Steelers will be looking to win their first since 2018.
