Blackpool & Northampton Town await team news ahead of League One clash
Injury and doubt news
Blackpool will be without at least 18 players for Tuesday’s League One clash with Northampton Town.
The Seasiders have been hit by a number of injuries in recent weeks, with defender Jordan Thorniley the latest to be ruled out.
Thorniley has joined a lengthy injury list that also includes Keshi Anderson, Grant Ward, Matty Virtue, Demetri Mitchell, Luke Garbutt, Teddy Howe, Owen Dale, Ryan Wintle, Josh Bowler, Cameron Antwi, CJ Hamilton, Sullay Kaikai, Liam Bridcutt, Oliver Sarkic, Beryly Lubala and Shayne Lavery.
In addition to their injury concerns, Blackpool also have three players who are doubts for the Northampton clash.
These players are not yet ruled out, but they will all be assessed before the game.
Northampton, meanwhile, have only three players on their injury list.
Defender Jack Sowerby (knee) and midfielders Alan Sheehan (knee) and Ben Fox (ankle) are all set to miss the game at Bloomfield Road.
