Confidence is key says County boss on play-off potential
Newport County AFC manager James Rowberry says his players need to find consistency if they are to push for a play-off place in League Two.
The Exiles are currently 14th in the table, seven points off the top seven with 12 games to go.
Rowberry's side have won three of their last five games, but they have also lost two of their last three.
"We need to find that consistency," said Rowberry. "We've shown in patches that we can be a very good side, but we need to do it more regularly."
Newport have a tough run of fixtures coming up, with games against Forest Green Rovers, Mansfield Town, and Leyton Orient all on the horizon.
"We know it's going to be a tough run-in, but we're confident that we can push for the play-offs," said Rowberry. "We need to take each game as it comes and focus on getting three points."
