Trinity Aim For Trophy Triumph As Gainsborough Trip Awaits

Buoyed by reaching the semi-finals of the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy following Tuesday night's victory over Lincoln United, the Blues head to the Midlands to face National League North side Gainsborough Trinity in the fourth round of the FA Trophy.

Having dumped out fellow Northern Premier League side Warrington Rylands in the previous round, the Blues will now face their toughest test of the competition thus far when they travel to the Northolme.

The hosts currently sit 19th in the National League North having won just seven of their 23 league matches so far this season.

Gainsborough Trinity Aiming To Bounce Back

On Tuesday night, Gainsborough suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to Hereford FC - a result which saw them eliminated from the Isuzu FA Trophy at the Third Round stage.

Prior to that, Trinity had won two of their previous three matches in all competitions and will be looking to bounce back from their Trophy exit when they welcome the Blues to Lincolnshire.

Blues Aim To Extend Unbeaten Run

The Blues will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to six matches in all competitions when they face Gainsborough.

Steve Housham's men have won three and drawn two of their last five matches and will be hoping to continue their good form against Trinity.
