France beat New Zealand 40-25 to win first series on their soil
All Blacks suffer first home series defeat since 1994
Les Bleus secure famous victory in Wellington
France have beaten New Zealand 40-25 to win their first ever series on New Zealand soil.
The All Blacks have not lost a home series since 1994, when they were beaten by France 2-0.
France won the first Test 26-13 in Auckland and the second Test 29-20 in Wellington.
The third Test was played in front of a sell-out crowd of 30,000 at Eden Park in Auckland.
France took an early lead through a try from Damian Penaud, but New Zealand hit back with a try from Will Jordan.
France extended their lead to 17-10 at half-time thanks to a try from Romain Ntamack.
The All Blacks reduced the deficit to 17-15 early in the second half, but France scored two tries in quick succession to take a 31-15 lead.
New Zealand scored a consolation try through Sam Cane, but France added another try to seal the victory.
France's victory is a major upset, and it is a sign that the All Blacks are no longer the dominant force that they once were.
The All Blacks have now lost four of their last five Tests, and they will need to improve their form if they want to win the World Cup next year.
