France make key changes to squad ahead of All Blacks clash
Changes led by return of experienced trio
Shaun Edwards has made several changes to his France side ahead of their clash with New Zealand this weekend, with an experienced trio returning to the starting line-up.
The biggest news is the return of fly-half Matthieu Jalibert, who missed the win over Japan with a thigh injury. He will be joined by scrum-half Antoine Dupont and centre Virimi Vakatawa, who both missed the game with knocks.
Macalou replaces Cros in back row
There is one enforced change in the back row, with Francois Cros ruled out with a knee injury.
His place will be taken by Anthony Jelonch, who will pack down alongside Gregory Alldritt and Charles Ollivon.
The rest of the team remains unchanged, with Damian Penaud, Gabin Villiere and Teddy Thomas forming a dangerous-looking back three.
France looking to extend impressive record
France will be looking to extend their impressive record against New Zealand when the two sides meet at the Stade de France on Saturday evening.
Les Bleus have won three of their last four meetings with the All Blacks, including a 40-25 victory in Paris in 2020.
But New Zealand will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Ireland last weekend and will be determined to prove that they are still the world's best team.
