Grimsby Town manager Paul Hurst:
"I thought we were the better team in the first half and created some good chances. We didn't take them and that came back to haunt us in the second half when Newport came into the game more."
Newport County manager James Rowberry:
"I'm pleased with a point away from home against a good Grimsby team. We had a great chance to win it in the second half, but it wasn't to be."
