‘I don’t even know if he can play 90 minutes’ - Koeman offers update on Barcelona's De Jong
Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has admitted he is unsure whether Frenkie de Jong will be fit enough to play a full game on Tuesday
The Dutchman sat out his side's 1-0 friendly win over Girona on Saturday with a muscle issue
De Jong has been a key player for Barcelona this season, but he has been struggling with injuries of late.
Koeman admitted that he is not sure whether the midfielder will be able to play a full game against Granada.
"I don't even know if he can play 90 minutes," Koeman said.
"We will have to see how he is in training on Monday.
"If he is not fit enough to start, then we will have to find another solution.
De Jong is one of several Barcelona players who are currently struggling with injuries.
Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati and Sergi Roberto are all also sidelined.
Koeman will be hoping that De Jong is fit enough to play against Granada, as the Dutchman is likely to be a key player in his side's quest for a top-four finish.
