Jon Jones, Stipe Miocic Fight In Talks For UFC Superfight In 2023

UFC superstar Jon Jones might finally be making his heavyweight debut in 2023.

Per UFC president Dana White, Jones and former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic are in talks to headline a pay-per-view event later this year.

The bout would be a massive one for the UFC, as Jones is widely considered to be one of the greatest fighters of all time, and Miocic is one of the most successful heavyweights in UFC history.

Jones has been teasing a move to heavyweight for several years, but has yet to make the jump. He last fought at light heavyweight in February 2020, when he defeated Dominick Reyes by unanimous decision.

Miocic, meanwhile, is coming off a knockout loss to Francis Ngannou in March 2021. The defeat snapped Miocic's three-fight winning streak, and he has not fought since.
