Mission: Impossible 7 Gets New Title, Release Date, and Insane Stunts

Tom Cruise's next death-defying adventure is almost here.

Paramount Pictures has announced a new title, release date, and a sneak peek behind-the-scenes of insane stunts for the seventh installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise. Originally set to release in November 2021, the film has been pushed back to May 27, 2022. The new title, Mission: Impossible 7 - Dead Reckoning Part One, hints at a two-part story arc for the franchise.

In a behind-the-scenes featurette, Cruise, who reprises his role as Ethan Hunt, is seen performing some of the most dangerous stunts of his career. He’s seen riding a motorcycle off a cliff, jumping out of a helicopter, and hanging from a moving train.

The film also stars Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Vanessa Kirby, and Rebecca Ferguson. Christopher McQuarrie, who directed the previous two Mission: Impossible films, returns to direct Dead Reckoning Part One.

The Mission: Impossible franchise is known for its action-packed stunts, and Dead Reckoning Part One is sure to continue the tradition.
