South Africa announce Men’s squads for England T20I and ODI Series
All-rounder Chloe Tryon will captain the Proteas in the T20I series, while Suné Luus will lead the team in the ODI matches.
Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Tuesday named the Proteas Women’s squads for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against England.
The Proteas will play three T20Is against England in Kimberley from November 24 to 28, before traveling to Paarl for three ODIs from December 9 to 15.
All-rounder Chloe Tryon will captain the Proteas in the T20I series, while Suné Luus will lead the team in the ODI matches.
There are several notable inclusions in the squads, including the return of fast bowler Shabnim Ismail, who missed the recent series against India due to injury.
Wicketkeeper-batter Sinalo Jafta has also been recalled to the squad after missing the India series, while Lara Goodall has earned her maiden call-up to the Proteas Women’s team.
The Proteas Women will be looking to build on their recent success against India, where they won the ODI series 3-1 and the T20I series 2-1.
England will be a tough test for the Proteas, but the South Africans will be confident of their chances, especially on home soil.
