Rugby: France fullback Buros to make debut against All Blacks
France fullback Thomas Ramos to make his debut against the All Blacks in the first Test in Auckland on Saturday.
Ramos has been in impressive form for Toulouse this season, helping them to win the Top 14 title. He has also been capped by France at Under-20 level.
Buros' selection is a surprise, as he was not part of the original squad. However, he has impressed coach Jacques Brunel in training and has been given the nod ahead of Brice Dulin.
Dulin has been in fine form for La Rochelle this season, but he has not been able to dislodge Ramos from the starting XV.
Ramos is a versatile player who can play at fullback or on the wing. He is a good tackler and has a strong kicking game. He is also a dangerous runner with ball in hand.
Brunel will be hoping that Ramos can make a positive impact on the team in the first Test against the All Blacks. France will need to be at their best to beat the world champions.
The All Blacks are the most successful team in rugby history, and they will be looking to extend their winning streak against France to 11 matches.
The first Test will be a huge challenge for Ramos, but he will be determined to make the most of his opportunity.
