Search for missing man suspended after body found

The search for a missing man has been suspended after a body was found in a river. The body was found by a member of the public on Friday morning and has been formally identified as the missing man, who was 22 years old.

Family's tribute

The man's family have paid tribute to him, describing him as a "kind and caring young man who will be greatly missed."

They added: "We would like to thank the police and all the other agencies involved in the search for our son. We are devastated by his loss, but we take some comfort in the fact that his body has been found and we can now lay him to rest.
