Wallabies make six changes to starting side for clash in Cardiff
Australia have recalled lock Will Skelton and prop Allan Alaalatoa as part of six changes to their starting side for Saturday's Test against Wales in Cardiff.
Skelton will start alongside Darcy Swain in the second row, with Alaalatoa joining Taniela Tupou in the front row.
Fraser McReight has been named at blindside flanker, with Rob Leota moving to openside and captain Michael Hooper switching to No. 8.
Other changes to starting side
In the backs, Jordan Petaia replaces Tom Wright on the wing, while Nic White starts at scrum-half ahead of Jake Gordon.
The Wallabies have lost their last three Tests against Wales, and will be looking to turn their form around in Cardiff.
Skelton and Alaalatoa return to starting side
Skelton and Alaalatoa are both experienced campaigners, and their return to the starting side will add some much-needed experience to the Wallabies pack.
Skelton has 22 caps for Australia, while Alaalatoa has 57.
Both players were part of the Wallabies squad that won the Rugby Championship in 2021.
McReight starts at blindside flanker
McReight has been in impressive form for the Queensland Reds this season, and he has been rewarded with a starting spot in the Wallabies team.
The 23-year-old is a strong ball-carrier and tackler, and he will be looking to make an impact against Wales.
Leota moves to openside flanker, while Hooper switches to No. 8.
Petaia starts on the wing
Petaia is one of the most exciting young players in Australian rugby, and he will be hoping to make a big impact in Cardiff.
The 21-year-old has scored four tries in his nine Tests for Australia, and he will be looking to add to his tally against Wales.
Wright has been dropped to the bench, while Suliasi Vunivalu misses out on the squad altogether.
White starts at scrum-half
White has been in good form for the Brumbies this season, and he has been rewarded with a starting spot in the Wallabies team.
The 31-year-old has 28 caps for Australia, and he will be looking to help the Wallabies to victory in Cardiff.
