Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia enters the 2024 season as the defending national champions and a clear contender to repeat. With quarterback Stetson Bennett returning for his senior year, the Bulldogs have one of the most dynamic offensive attacks in the country. Bennett threw for 4,127 yards and 27 touchdowns last season, while rushing for another 764 yards and 10 touchdowns. He will have plenty of weapons to work with in 2024, including returning leading receiver Ladd McConkey, who caught 70 passes for 830 yards and seven touchdowns last year.

Georgia's defense was also one of the best in the country last season, allowing just 14.2 points per game. They will need to replace some key players from the 2023 title game team, including defensive tackle Jalen Carter and cornerback Kelee Ringo but have plenty of talent returning.

Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State is another strong contender for the national championship in 2024. The Buckeyes have one of the most talented rosters in the country, led by quarterback Kyle McCord. McCord threw for 1,150 yards and 12 touchdowns in limited action last season and is expected to take over as the starter in 2024. He will have plenty of weapons to work with, including wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who is one of the best pass catchers in the country.

Ohio State's defense was also one of the best in the country last season, allowing just 18.1 points per game. They will need to replace some key players from that unit, but they have plenty of talent returning.

Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama is always a contender for the national championship, and 2024 should be no different. The Crimson Tide have one of the most talented rosters in the country, led by quarterback Jalen Milroe. Milroe threw for 1,086 yards and 11 touchdowns last season and is expected to take over as the starter in 2024. He will have plenty of weapons to work with, including wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks, who is one of the top recruits in the country.

Alabama's defense was also one of the best in the country last season, allowing just 13.0 points per game. They will need to replace some key players from that unit, but they have plenty of talent returning.
