Strictly Come Dancing: Week Nine – As It Happened
The 2022 series of Strictly Come Dancing continues with a special theme week, featuring songs from the BBC's 100-year history.
On Saturday October 29th, just four couples remained in the competition after Fleur East and Vito Coppola were eliminated in last week's Halloween special.
Opening the show was Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, who performed an energetic Charleston to "Milord" by Édith Piaf.

Next up were Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez, who danced a beautiful Viennese Waltz to "Moon River" by Audrey Hepburn. The judges were impressed by Helen's elegance and grace, with Motsi Mabuse saying, "You're a dream to watch!" The couple scored a total of 38 points.
Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu performed a powerful Argentine Tango to "Santa Maria" by Gotan Project.
The judges loved the couple's chemistry and passion, with Shirley Ballas saying, "That was absolutely sensational!" The couple scored a total of 39 points.
Closing the show were Will Mellor and Nancy Xu, who danced a heartfelt Rumba to "With You" by Chris Brown. The judges were moved by the couple's emotional performance, with Anton Du Beke saying, "That was the most beautiful Rumba I've ever seen on Strictly." The couple scored a total of 40 points.
At the end of the show, the judges' scores were combined with the public vote, and Fleur East and Vito Coppola were eliminated from the competition.
The remaining four couples will now compete in the semi-final next week.
