Strictly confirms third celebrity joining Christmas special cast
EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis is the third celebrity confirmed to be taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.
The actress, who played Frankie Lewis in the BBC soap, will be joining previously announced contestants Alexandra Mardell and Nicola Roberts in the festive episode.
Ayling-Ellis is the first deaf contestant to appear on Strictly, and her participation in the Christmas special is a sign of the show's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The 27-year-old actress is best known for her role as Frankie Lewis in EastEnders, which she played from 2020 to 2022.
Ayling-Ellis is also a talented dancer, and she has previously performed with the National Deaf Children's Society's dance group.
