He has also netted twice in his last three games for Wales, including a stunning winner against Ukraine in the World Cup play-off semi-final.

Johnson's form has led to him being linked with a move to a number of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham.

And according to reports in Turkey, Besiktas are the latest club to join the race for his signature.

The Turkish giants are said to be preparing a £20million bid for Johnson, who is contracted to Forest until 2025.

It remains to be seen whether Forest will be willing to sell their prized asset, but Johnson's stock is certainly rising.

If he continues to perform at his current level, it is only a matter of time before he earns a move to one of the Premier League's top clubs.
