JLS star Oritsé's unique and sentimental baby name explained

JLS star Oritsé Williams has revealed the unique and sentimental meaning behind his newborn son's name, Omré.

The singer and his wife AJ welcomed their second child into the world on 3rd September 2022, and they have now shared the special meaning behind his moniker.

Oritsé explained that Omré is a Yoruba name meaning "son of wealth" or "my wealth".

He said: "For us, it represents our greatest blessing yet, the wealth of our hearts."

The couple also chose the name Omré because it is a nod to Oritsé's Nigerian heritage.

Oritsé and AJ are already parents to a daughter, who they welcomed in 2015.

The couple have been married since 2017, and they are clearly overjoyed to have welcomed their second child into the world.
