Chelsea Women manager reflects on Blues return, Academy graduates, and today's WSL game
The Blues host Manchester United at Kingsmeadow in the WSL this afternoon
Speaking ahead of the game, Rytting Kaneryd also discussed the excitement around the team after their recent return to Kingsmeadow and the atmosphere generated by the fans.
She began by reflecting on her Stamford Bridge experience, and what it meant to be back in front of the home crowd.
"It was amazing," Rytting Kaneryd said. "Stamford Bridge is always special, and we felt very welcome there."
"The atmosphere was great and it was really nice to see so many fans come out to support us. It definitely gave us an extra boost on the pitch."
Rytting Kaneryd then highlighted the importance of Academy graduates to the team's success, and believes offering these players opportunities to develop is crucial to their pathway.
