Louie Barry scores screamer for Stockport against Wrexham
Stockport County loanee Louie Barry has scored a stunning goal against Wrexham in the National League.
The 19-year-old forward, who is on loan from Aston Villa, curled a superb effort into the top corner from 25 yards out.
Barry's goal helped Stockport to a 2-0 win over Wrexham, who are one of the favourites for promotion from the National League this season.
It was Barry's second goal for Stockport since joining the club on loan in January. He has now scored three goals in all competitions for the Hatters.
Barry is a highly-rated young player who has been capped by England at youth level. He joined Aston Villa from Barcelona in 2021, but he has yet to make his debut for the Premier League club.
Stockport are currently 12th in the National League table, but they have a game in hand on most of the teams above them.
The Hatters will be hoping that Barry can continue to score goals for them as they push for promotion to League Two.
