Search for Essex man missing since August is suspended as body is found

Police have suspended their search for a missing Essex man after a body was found.

Daniel Prusik, 26, from Braintree, was last seen on August 26.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called at around 7.20pm on Saturday, October 22, with reports of a body being discovered near to a track in Hatfield Peverel. The death is not being treated as suspicious."

Mr Prusik's family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. They have asked for privacy at this difficult time.

Police would like to thank everyone who helped with the search for Mr Prusik.
