Eli Tomac Wins Paris Supercross

Eli Tomac, rider of the Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing team, won the fifteenth round of the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship at the Stade de France in Paris, France on Saturday, March 11th.

Tomac led from start to finish, holding off a challenge from Red Bull KTM's Cooper Webb in the final laps to win his third Supercross race of the season.

Webb finished second, followed by Team Honda HRC's Chase Sexton in third.

Cooper Webb Extends Points Lead

Despite finishing second in Paris, Cooper Webb extended his lead in the Supercross standings to 10 points over Sexton.

Webb now has 292 points, while Sexton has 282.

Tomac is third in the standings with 258 points.

Ken Roczen Crashes Out

Two-time Supercross champion Ken Roczen crashed out of the Paris race while running in second place.

Roczen was taken to the hospital for examination, but the extent of his injuries is not yet known.

The crash was a major blow to Roczen's championship hopes, as he is now 50 points behind Webb in the standings.

There are three races remaining in the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.

The next race will be held at the iconic Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday, March 18th.
